BIO
Originally from Chicago, now bouncing back and forth from Los Angeles, I am a 23 year old college senior. What I do — Writing, Photography, Filmmaking and Storytelling. Why I do it? I honestly don’t know, it’s innate. Some of the influences in the artist world — Wim Wenders, John Ohara, Raymond Carver, Brian Eno, The Dardenne Brothers, Leonard Cohen, Edward Hopper, Robby Muller, Paul Thomas Anderson, William Eggleston, Terrence Malik and many more.
In the film world — I am currently working within small roles on commercials and feature films within the professional realm. For myself, I am writing screenplays, directing and shooting short films, music videos and short documentaries. On the road to a feature. Striving to reflect our world and various moments and emotions we endure as people on screen.
In the writing world — If I’m not doing anything, I’m writing. And if I’m not writing, I’m not doing anything. Since my first English class, writing is something I grabbed ahold of. I have written many short stories and am currently writing my first book.
In the photography world — I picked up a film camera when I was 15. All shot with heart and love, shot in various places around the U.S., I bring a camera everywhere I go. Each photo, each frame, is an instant story that becomes timeless. A photo is one of the only things that becomes an instant story when taking it, yet becomes simultaneously timeless. Still frames, in my book, are true blessings that we have, as I have always innately wanted to capture ones of my own. All photos within the archive are taken on various cameras and lenses, all on 35mm and 120 film.
