"I Want to Paint Houses" is a short story I wrote around a year back. I am turning it into a short film, shooting this November. Using voice-over and montage, I am shooting the piece in east LA using a mix of still imagery, Super 8 and 16mm film.

Henry, left home after the passing of his father and has been a wanderer ever since. He returns home thinking he is ready to engage with the family he has left.
As his mom is out at work, he spends the day with his younger sister, as they catch up on her life, his own life, their mom, photography and whats he's missed since leaving.
“Broken Devotion”- A Music Video shot for my Dad. He and his music partner, John Bruce, made a quick song and wanted me to express it visually. Shot in an afternoon with my Dad, Sister, Dog and myself.
“Curls” (Trailer) - “Curls” is a Short Documentary I shot in 2021. My name is Felix Curls Conrad. I became curious to the meaning behind the name in the middle, coming from my Great Grandfather, I wanted to know about the man. So, I explored it in two ways. 1. Through the people who cared about him. 2. Through the memories he left behind. (currently waiting to release after film festivals)
